England’s Heatwave

I cannot stress enough how typically British everyone is being right now! We have been praying for sun for weeks now as it is supposed to be summer and we have had nothing but wind and rain. These past couple of days however have been crazy hot, England have had a heatwave and we can’t cope.

For the past couple of days it has reached 31 degrees Centigrade. So like the typical Brits we are, we have all stripped down to the bare minimal, guys with their T-Shirts off, girls in Bikinis and little shorts. Most of them forgetting one of the most important things…sun cream. The amount of people that have been fainting and getting sun stroke is an absolute joke, all in the name of trying to get a tan before summer quickly disappears again!

Our friend Ken has a beautiful garden by the river and a swimming pool. He is the friendliest man ever and so welcoming so we spent the day there, having fun by the pool and of course my sister and I practiced Gymnastics on the trampoline.

This is Ken, he always trys pushing you in the pool, I had to quickly remind him that my red hair will run and turn the whole pool RED! haha could you imagine.!?

I hope you’re all having a great time in the sun too, don’t forget to wear sun cream and a hat if you have one, it’s not all about getting a Tan remember hehe
