L’Oreal recently brought out their new Infallible range, everywhere I looked I saw people talking about it, so of course I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
First I tried their Primer, for me I can’t bare not wearing a base before my foundation, so it’s really important I get a good one. Oh and it has to be matte! Their Mattifying base is a gel consistency and glides on so smoothly and makes your face feel so silky soft! I often just sit touching my face after I apply it, so I am really pleased with this.
Then I thought I had better get their foundation to see if it goes well together. I got this in the shade Vanilla and lucky enough for me it is the perfect match for my skin tone. I don’t often find a perfect match so was happy with it as soon as I started blending it onto my face. Even though I have naturally clear skin, I still prefer a full coverage. This says medium, but I feel it is more of a medium to light coverage. It does feel nice and light on your skin though which is a plus side 🙂
The contour set. I got the light to medium shade as I am very pale. I’m not too sure about this product, it is a cream to powder finish but I just don’t think it blends in nicely. The dark part is ok, but when I use the highlighting side, it doesn’t fully blend in and leave a flawless effect, it leaves a sort of congealed effect which of course you can’t see from far away but up close it doesn’t look good.
Their fixing mist. Whatever you do make sure you shake it properly before EVERY use. I made the mistake of not doing this once and I had white dots all over my face for ages!
I do like this product as it doesn’t leave your face feeling sticky like some others I have tried. It does help keep your makeup looking fresh for a little longer too. 😀
