An Evening with Kerry Ellis | Danesfield House Hotel

On Friday 8th April I got tickets to see the wonderful Kerry Ellis perform live at Danesfield House Hotel. For those of you who don’t know, she is a West End and Broadway star. I was so excited because I knew all about her and the many many shows she has been in, but I hadn’t seen her in any of them. I had however seen so many videos online of her singing and thought she was amazing.

Kerry Ellis evening

Well we got to the place and didn’t really know what to expect. It was a beautiful long hall with rows and rows of white chairs. We were very lucky as our seats were very close to the front and we had a good view of the stage.

Kerry came through the doors and started off the evening with Adele’s song ‘Rolling in the Deep’ and absolutely nailed it. Her voice was so strong and powerful I loved it straight away.

She continued her show with many musical numbers from shows she has been in and also few songs which were not from musicals, including a Katy Perry medley, Pharell Williams ‘Happy’ and a few others.

Kerry Ellis sang everything so beautifully and with ease, the time flew by so quickly.

I am so lucky to have gone to the show and would recommend going to see her live if ever she is in a town near you. Check out my video down below to see for yourself  just how talented this lady is:
