Day Trip To London’s Denmark Street & Regents Park

It was a beautiful sunny day in England (for once) and mum had a specialist dentist appointment in London. We were going to take the train, but none of us enjoy getting the train, as it is always very busy and there are quite a few changes from where we live. So we asked my dad if he would drive us, luckily for us he said yes! So we drove up and dropped mum off at the Hospital then dad and I went to explore.

I say explore but my dad  knows London like the back of his hand as he grew up there. He wanted to check out Denmark Street, which back in the 60s was the place to be if you wanted to make it as a singer or in the music business. Apparently the council have plans to knock the road down, so everyone is signing a petition to stop that happening as it is such an iconic street. Save Tin Pan Alleyy- Denmark Street.

We got a call to pick mum up and then went to the beautiful Regents Park. I hadn’t ever been there before, but oh my it was so beautiful! It was a huge place with pretty flowers everywhere, not all of them had bloomed yet but I can imagine when they do it will look lovely.

I do love looking at nature but when I’m with my mum she spends hours taking photos of EVERYTHING!!! lol So I have to find things to amuse myself, like playing limbo under this rope. haha 😀 Limbo

We had a really great day trip up to London, if your going to make the effort to go there, you may as well make the most of it. 🙂
