Buskers Night Performance

As most of you know I have been learning to play guitar for a while now and in my New Years Resolutions blog I mentioned that I wanted to play my guitar for at least 30 minutes everyday to practice. Of course as with most resolutions, I don’t do it everyday, sometimes you just have too many other things to do.

I do however play it almost everyday which I am very happy about, sometimes I do wish I had an actual teacher as I sometimes struggle with strumming patterns. However, I do my best with myself and the internet!

Last night I went to buskers night, which is in a local pub near where I live and took along my guitar. I have played only once before in public at this same place, so now was my 2nd guitar performance in public. For some reason I was pretty nervous (I never get nervous) because this is still all very new to me and I am very aware that I am still a beginner.

So I got up and first of all played a song from my favourite TV show Nashville called ‘A life that’s good’. Then my sister came up to join me and we sang ‘Will you still love me tomorrow’, this is a favourite of ours and we enjoy singing it.

Yes we were a bit shaky and I messed the strumming patterns up a bit, but we carried on and that’s the main thing. I just have to keep practicing and gain more and more confidence 🙂

Check out both songs below 😀
